It's a nice picture that leaves quite a bit to the viewers imagination.
I like to think that that Doc is the very same that fitted the nurse's leg, and that inspired her to to want to be a nurse to help others. And in the end they ended up working togheter.
You know you done something right when your art inspires people to make up their own small stories to go with them.
